About Kristoffer
Kristoffer launched his legal career in 2009 after graduating from Sheridan College as a paralegal. He worked with a senior partner at a prominent insurance defence firm in Toronto, then joined a boutique law firm in North York in 2012 to focus on accident benefits.
In 2013, he enrolled at Bond University in Australia, where he received the Padma and Hari Harilela Bursary for his community and academic achievements. During law school, he worked part-time at a personal injury firm in Gold Coast and later served as a contract administrator for a fire engineering consultancy in Brisbane until his Australian working visa expired. He traveled across Asia before returning to Canada.
He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018 and joined a boutique Mississauga firm to lead its personal injury department. Since 2021, he has started his own practice with a focus on client service.
Kristoffer values strong client relationships, keeps clients well-informed, and treats everyone as people instead of “file numbers”. He advocates politely yet firmly, and he prepares diligently for matters in Small Claims Court, Superior Court, and various tribunals. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, playing sports (judo, basketball and volleyball) and “nerd stuff” like video games, MTG (Commander format) and board games.
Howard was a graduate of Paw School and worked as Kristoffer’s “Pawtner Dog Lawyer.” He joined Kristoffer as a rescue from the Burlington Humane Society. Half German Shepherd and half mystery, Howard’s exact mix was left unknown for fun.
Though he has passed, we’ll always remember the joy he brought us and these memories remain in his Instagram at: LegalTails
